Your invitation to the table
Requesting you to share stories and perspectives about how you relate to our world.
CALLING ALL EATERS:
Vietnamese monk and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh coined interbeing, a word to describe our radical interdependence upon everything there is. Inspired by this word and our magical connectedness, this blog has become inter-eating.
We all touch food, and we all touch food uniquely. If you have stories to share or recipes to dish out regarding how you relate to food and our broader world, I deeply wish for this to be a platform for us all. For, it is the balance of diverse perspectives which can increasingly fulfill the felt depth of our interrelationship.
Inviting:
〰️ Writings and art on cooking, eating, food culture, environmental and social justice, eco-spirituality, or anything under the sun.
I thought blogging was egotistical until I gave it a try. Instead, I feel more connected to my loved ones and increasingly connected to others through discovering shared affinities for joyful eating. We all eat and live in connection to all other things and beings, so we all have something worthwhile to write about. I encourage you to grace us with the wisdom of your experience💗
With love, gratitude, and well wishes,
anna
Today’s Blog
For today, I don’t have anything written to share. Instead, I ask you to become familiar with the work of Bobby Wilson at Metro Atlanta Urban Farm. Having met him twice, I can share that he is a deeply kind and compassionate man, a phenomenal storyteller who shares from a depth of understanding and wisdom. He has been nominated for CNN’s Hero of the Year, for which today is the last for casting votes. I found a video on social media that I believe highlights the beauty of his work. I hope you can enjoy this video in place of the typical written blog. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for introducing the concept of "inter-eating." I've never thought of food and eating that way before. This paradigm is an essential pathway to enlightenment! Bless you for freshly expressing into our collective awareness. As I eat, I nourish myself. I nourish the Earth. I nourish my relationships to all connected with what I am eating. I'm deeply grateful for this nourishment. May my gratitude and nourishment cycle back to nourish all beings.
Thanks, too, for introducing me to Bobbie Wilson's powerful work with Metro Atlanta Urban Farm. He got all my votes!!
